What is StudyScore?
StudyScore is India's first independent, student-powered rating system for study abroad agents and overseas education consultants. Think of it as CIBIL for education agents — a transparent, data-driven quality score based on real student experiences. We are not affiliated with any education agency.
Is my identity protected?
Yes. The survey collects your name and email solely to verify that reviews are genuine and to block fake-review spam. These details are stored securely, never published on the public directory, and never shared with any agency. Optional verification documents are likewise stored privately and never published.
How is StudyScore different from Google Reviews?
Google Reviews can be manipulated — agents often ask staff and friends to post fake positive reviews. StudyScore collects structured feedback on specific parameters, counts only verified reviews, weights recent experiences more heavily, and applies a Bayesian stabilisation formula that resists review-bombing and artificial rank manipulation.
Is StudyScore affiliated with any education agency?
No. StudyScore is completely independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or funded by any education agent, university, or recruitment company. Our only stakeholder is the student and their family.
How will study abroad agents be rated?
Each education agent receives a StudyScore from 0 to 100 based on verified student feedback across five parameters: fee transparency (20%), communication quality (15%), visa support quality (25%), post-visa support (10%), and overall student satisfaction (30%). Recent reviews carry more weight than old ones, and a minimum number of verified reviews is required before any score is displayed.
Why do some agent profiles show no metrics yet?
Provisional profiles are compiled from publicly available information and remain unclaimed and unverified. StudyScore never publishes estimated or invented figures. Scores and metrics appear only after enough verified, anonymous student reviews have been collected for that agency.
